Jornal da Franca: from 2022 to 2026
A partnership since 2022. The first version put the portal online on WordPress; in 2026, with a more demanding newsroom, I rebuilt the theme from scratch so the site works like a professional newspaper.

O desafio The challenge
Em 2022 o Jornal da Franca precisava de um portal de notícias próprio, que a redação conseguisse alimentar todos os dias, com cara de jornal e espaço para anunciantes locais de Franca e região.
In 2022 Jornal da Franca needed its own news portal that the newsroom could update every day, with a newspaper feel and room for local advertisers in Franca and the region.
A solução The solution
Construí a primeira versão do portal em WordPress: topo com o slogan "A notícia quando ela acontece!", número e data da edição, previsão do tempo, menu de colunas, notícias e classificados, manchetes com chapéu editorial, áreas de banner e o botão "Envie notícias" para o leitor participar.

I built the first version of the portal on WordPress: a header with the "A notícia quando ela acontece!" tagline, edition number and date, weather, a menu for columns, news and classifieds, headlines with editorial kickers, banner areas and a "Send news" button so readers could take part.
